Self Care Sunday- Healn the Heart: Grief Retreat- 1pm

This month, we will have an open discussion about healthy ways to deal with losing someone close to you. We will learn creative ways to process and understand our feelings to help guide us through healing and coping with loss.

Using our senses we will rediscover ourselves, subside our detachment, and open ourselves up to the possibility and beauty of loss and healing.

We invite you and your loved ones to engage in this self-care journey. Gather your siblings, kin, or those experiencing feelings of loss to begin healing.

About the Instructors:

Nia-Dayo is a licensed Behavioral Specialist, and licensed Master Social Worker. With 20 years plus of helping children and families in the social service field, my carrier focus has been on Out-Patient Counseling for Children, Adults and Families assisting them to reach their therapeutic goals, and effective communication skills for relationship building while utilizing evidence base treatments.

Kishna is certified as a Trauma & Resiliency Coach, Trauma Support Specialist, Clinically Trained Trauma Coach, Parenting & Relationship specialist, Domestic Abuse Advocate, and youth development specialist. Nervous system regulation and emotional development are the main focus of all of Kishna's services, with the goal of guiding individuals into a soul rest.

This event is in partnership with Destination Elevated. Destination Elevated is committed to identifying and curating safer spaces for the BIPOC, Latinx, and LGBTQ Communities.

Right to Know.

Session One will be filmed for the Destination Elevated Docuseries. You have a right to request that any footage of you not be included in the published product.  By purchasing a ticket for Session One you understand that a small camera crew will be present and that you will be asked to complete a Photo/Video Release. You are not required to complete the release in order to attend this session.

Refund Policy.

There are no refunds however you may apply your event credit to any Upcoming Soul Healn workshops or events.
